A large vintage heart-shaped padlock clasp circa 1955 crafted in solid 14k gold with a soft florentine texture. The arm of the lock opens and shuts means of a small tension lever with "keyhole" design element not meant to accommodate an actual key. Perfect as the clasp or connector for a chain, and plays beautifully as a bold pendant statement.
Measuring approximately 1 5/16" high and 1" wide, with an approximate 10.1 gram weight. The bar is 1.85 mm thick. Marked on the back for 14k.
